New Riverfront Park will be delivered by the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency to Metro Parks and Recreation. The Riverfront will be managed by Metro Parks and Recreation which is responsible for providing every citizen of Nashville and Davidson County with an equal opportunity for safe recreational and cultural activities within a network of parks and greenways.  They are charged with preserving, and protecting the region’s natural resources.
